Dad Murders And Hangs Children's Bodies From Tree; Sends Video To Relative Before Killing Self
A man in India has allegedly killed his two children, recorded a video of their bodies hanging from a tree and sent the disturbing clip to a relative before taking his own life.
The incident took place in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. The 33-year-old man, whose identity was not revealed, suffered injuries in a workplace accident earlier this month and had to stay home while recovering. He reportedly began suspecting that his wife was having an affair after he noticed her talking to someone over the phone. This led to a heated argument between the couple, reported Catch News.
The man told her wife he was going to a shop and he was taking their 5-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son along Sunday evening. He also quietly took his wife's phone. He then brought the children to a secluded place and killed them. Afterward, he recorded a video of their bodies hanging from a tree and sent the clip to a family member.
"This is what you wished for. You wanted to kill us. See, we are dead now," he said in the video message before switching off the mobile phone and killing himself, according to India Today.
The relative who received the video immediately informed the cops, who launched a massive search. They found the bodies of the man and the children hanging from a tree at a mango farm. The weapon used in killing the children remains unknown.
Earlier this year, a man in the western Indian state of Gujarat allegedly killed his 5-year-old daughter after suspecting his wife of having an extramarital affair. Police said the man and his wife had repeated arguments as the husband thought his wife was cheating on him. On the day of the incident, the accused allegedly took his child to a farming field and made her sit near a canal. He then tore the belt from the dress she was wearing and strangled the child with it. He was taken into custody and charged with murder.
