20th World Oil Forum 2009
The 20th World Oil Forum 2009 kicks off from July 13-15 in London, UK where world oil and gas executives will meet to focus on critical matters of the industry such as shifting geopolitics in energy, strategy, commercial and business development issues which may impact projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America , Middle East and Russia.
Treasury Budget results
The U.S. Treasury will release its budget today at 2:00 p.m. It is expected that the federal budget deficit will increase to more than $1 trillion for the first time when June results are included, according to the Associated Press.
U.S. Solar PV market conference
The conference Growth Opportunities in the New PV Market: Projects, Finance and Policy will be held in San Francisco, CA to discuss the PV market in the United States and its opportunities for developers and integrators.
Emerald Energy
British oil and gas firm Emerald Energy Plc confirmed today that it has received an approach from a third party interested in taking over the Company. But emphasized that the discussions are at a preliminary stage and did not assured a transaction will occur.
