Analyst predicts Apple mini-computer to debut in 2010
A prominent technology analyst predicted that Apple Inc. would release a tablet or mini-computer for sale early next year, and that it could boost the consumer electronics company's revenue by 3 percent in 2010. Gene Munster, a Piper Jaffray analyst said the tablet from Apple will look like an iPod Touch, but a bit larger.
Targeted Twitter user blames Russia
The Georgian blogger whose Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube accounts were targeted in denial-of-service attacks on Thursday, says he thinks Russia's federal security service is behind it. This hackers was from Russian KGB, the blogger, who uses Cyxymu on his accounts, wrote in a tweet early on Friday, adding later: My twitter is online! Malaysia denies Internet filter will curb dissent
Malaysia denied on Friday that a proposed Internet filter would be used to police blogs and websites, saying it would be used only to block pornography. The denial comes after news that the Southeast Asian country was considering setting up an Internet filter similar to China's Green Dam software, a move the opposition said was aimed at suppressing political dissent.
