Dakota Johnson Talks About Being 'Cozy And Private' With Chris Martin

Dakota Johnson has opened up about her relationship with singer Chris Martin and noted that she likes to keep things "cozy and private."

"We’ve been together for quite a while, and we go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it’s nice to be at home and be cozy and private," Johnson told Elle UK in an interview published Thursday.

The 32-year-old actress further shared that the couple likes to do parties in their own house rather than going out. "I feel both 48 and 26," she added. "I’ve had a lot of life in my life. I had a lot of life really young, so I think I feel older."

The "Fifty Shades of Grey" star reflected on her busy schedule and told the outlet that because she works so much, even drinking a cup of tea and watching tea seems "appealing" to her.

The 44-year-old Coldplay's lead singer and Johnson have been dating since December 2017. The couple was spotted together at Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday in February 2018. Johnson and Martin were also seen sporting the same tattoos of an infinity symbol in September 2018.

Since then, the couple has been spotted together at various events and private vacations. In fact, the couple moved to their $12.5 million house located in Malibu in January this year.

Moreover, during a Coldplay concert held in October, the singer dedicated "My Universe" song to Johnson. "This is about my universe, and she’s here," Martin told the crowd before the band played the music.

Martin was previously married to the "Iron Man" star Gwyneth Paltrow from 2003 to 2016. Martin shares two kids - Apple, 17, and Moses, 15 - with her.

On the work front, Johnson will be next seen in a drama movie, "Cha Cha Real Smooth," which is slated to release on Jan. 23, 2022. The movie is helmed by director Cooper Raiff and it also stars Leslie Mann, Odeya Rush, Raúl Castillo and Brad Garrett.

The actress will also feature in another drama, "Am I OK?" helmed by directors Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne. The movie is penned by Lauren Pomerantz and it is slated to release on Jan. 24, 2022.
