Disappointing Week Two losses should embolden both teams as the Dallas Cowboys meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday afternoon at Cowboys Stadium.

Dallas suffered a punishing 27-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week that had many fans and critics calling them soft afterward.

Running back Felix Jones fumbled the opening kickoff and Seattle blocked a punt for a three-yard touchdown return on Dallas’ next drive for a quick 10-0 lead in the first quarter.

The Cowboys kept fighting with a 22-yard touchdown reception by Miles Austin in the second quarter, but Dallas wouldn’t score again, as the Seahawks then forced five punts.

Tony Romo misfired throughout the game, going 23-for-40 for 251 yards with one touchdown and an interception.

The Dallas defense also allowed 182 rushing yards, led by Seattle’s Marshawn Lynch with 122 yards and one touchdown.

The Buccaneers, on the other hand, allowed their final-snap tactics to take away from one of their best offensive performances in several seasons.

Receivers Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams made highlight reel catches that put Tampa Bay up big early until Giants quarterback Eli Manning led his squad to a 25 point fourth quarter and a 41-34 victory.

Jackson ended the game with five receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown.

The Buccaneers' defense must close games out stronger, as they gave up three touchdowns, a two-point conversion and a field goal in the final 12:22 in the game. The Giants also scored on their final five drives in the game.

After leading two straight touchdown drives, quarterback Josh Freeman threw a pick on Tampa Bay’s final drive to end the game.

The Buccaneers rushed the New York offensive line on the next play despite Manning taking a knee to wind the clock down. Tampa Bay head coach and Giants head coach Tom Coughlin exchanged words at midfield over the incident, but Schiano defended the tactic, saying he wants his players to play a full 60 minutes.

Prediction: Dallas and Romo have a history of winning and losing big. They should bounce back from the Seattle loss, and running back DeMarco Murray will have a big game.
