‘Dance Moms’ Season 6 Cast Photos, Shots Of New Mini Team Released By Lifetime
“Dance Moms” Season 6 is already in full-swing, but Lifetime has only just released the official cast photos for the new season. Ahead of the premiere of episode 3, “Mini Dancers, Big Drama,” the network is sharing new images of coach Abby Lee Miller’s elite junior team and her new troupe of mini dancers.
A majority of the promotional images star Abby’s longtime students, Nia Frazier, JoJo Siwa, Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, and Mackenzie Ziegler. The shots show the performers standing side-by-side inside Abby’s ALDC LA (Abby Lee Dance Company Los Angeles) studio. And while Abby only introduced dancer Brynn Rumfallo in the premiere episode, and has yet to give her a team jacket, the 12 year old is included in several of the images. Brynn’s mom, Ashlee, is also featured in the mom cast photo.
Maddie, who will be absent for a majority of Season 6, is the only cast member to have solo shots with Abby. Three images show the 13-year-old performer buddying up to her teacher and showing off her flexibility. As International Business Times previously reported, Maddie will not be competing in several “Dance Moms” competitions this season due to her filming schedule for Colin Trevorrow’s film “The Book of Henry.”
If new cast photos weren’t exciting enough for longtime fans of the Lifetime show, the network has also released a single shot of Abby's new mini team. The photo shows Abby sporting a big smile while posing next to her new — and much younger! — performers. Abby announced she would be adding a new team to the cast during the “Dance Moms” premiere. Dancers Peyton Evans, Alexus Oladi, Alysa Owen, Areana Lopez and their moms are just a few of the newcomers who will join the show in episode 3, which premieres Tuesday.
This season of “Dance Moms,” which premiered Jan. 5, is said to be one of the hit show’s most dramatic installments yet. Following the show’s return, Abby promised her fans the forthcoming episodes would include “off the charts drama.” JoJo echoed a similar sentiment on the show’s Facebook page, saying, “This season of 'Dance Moms,' Season 6, is a lot of drama with the moms and Abby with the new little mini babies. It’s just, it's a lot, but it's awesome!”
“Dance Moms” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
