‘Dance Moms’ Season 6 Spoilers: ‘Melissa’s Announcement’ Episode 15 Synopsis Released Online
It looks like the day has come, “Dance Moms” fans. After weeks of refusing to confirm her daughters Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler will be leaving the ALDC elite junior team, it appears Melissa Gisoni will make the move official in episode 15, “Melissa’s Announcement.”
Lifetime released the synopsis for the forthcoming Season 6 installment to International Business Times on Thursday evening, revealing next week’s installment will include “shocking news” that will rock coach Abby Lee Miller.
“Abby’s whole world is shattered when Melissa shares shocking news that will change the face of the ALDC forever,” the summary reveals. While Abby may be “mending” a “broken heart” in the new episode, she won’t have much time to mope. The ALDC (Abby Lee Dance Company) will be competing three duets and one group routine based on the film “The Huntsman: Winter’s War.”

Abby’s whole world is shattered when Melissa shares shocking news that will change the face of the ALDC forever. But with the ALDC competing three trios and an epic group number inspired by the new blockbuster film, The Huntsman: Winter’s War, there is little time to spend mending Abby’s broken heart.
“We’ve been here for a long time,” Melissa says to the team in the episode preview. “This has been such a great ride together. I love you guys so much.” The clip ends with the team hugging one another with tears in their eyes.
Despite the Zieglers possibly announcing their leave in episode 15, that won’t stop Abby from giving the siblings a starring role in the group number. Maddie, 13, will also perform two solos, one with teammate Kendall Vertes and another with Kalani Hilliker. As IBT previously reported, Maddie, Mackenzie, 11, and Melissa tearfully filmed their last episode of the reality series in February.
