‘Dance Moms’ Season 8 Spoilers: Are ALDC Girls Winning Or Losing Without Abby Lee Miller?
The cast of “Dance Moms” will undergo a major change next season. While the first several episodes will show Abby Lee Miller training her ALDC (Abby Lee Dance Company) students for competition, the later installments of the Lifetime docuseries will go on without the fearless coach.
In Season 7B of “Dance Moms” (known by fans as Season 8) Abby will exit the show, but that doesn’t meant the series is over. Following her departure, her former students Nia Sioux, Kenall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker, Camryn Bridges and Chloe Lukasiak continued competing for the show as a new team with the help of choreographer and “Dancing With the Stars” alum Cheryl Burke.

But after years of having Abby at the helm, have the ALDC girls managed to keep up their winning streak? Things didn’t look too good for the group at the beginning.
During Abby’s last competition with the show on March 26 in Upland, California, the new team’s group number did not place in the overalls, according to one spoiler site. Abby’s team, on the other hand, competing a rendition of her hit number “Where Have All The Children Gone?”, came in second-place overall.
The following week on April 1, with Burke at the lead, things didn’t fare any better. Camryn, Kalani, Chloe, Nia and Kendall placed third in the teen division and fifth overall for their jazz routine “The Protest” at Fierce NDC in Anaheim, California.
However, the group did get their groove back on April 8 at Innovation Dance Competition. Their witch-themed lyrical number “The Coven” came in first-place. The group continued their winning streak on April 15 at Fearless Dance Experience Nationals in Lawndale, California, taking home the coveted first-place for “Survivor,” an open group dance.
It looks like the “Dance Moms” cast may not need Abby Lee Miller to win after all.
