The fight for nationals goes into overdrive on next Tuesday’s episode of “Dance Moms.” With just one episode left until the girls battle it out against the Candy Apples at the national competition, the ALDC girls are down to the eleventh hour in their attempt to prove to Abby Lee Miller that they can bring her studio an award-winning solo performance. Unfortunately for one of the young “Dance Moms” stars, an injury cause her to miss the studio’s annual recital, putting her at risk of not being able to compete during next week’s finale.

“Each one of you will be performing an audition for a solo at nationals. I will be executioner, judge and jury,” Miller tells her girls in a promo for “45-Second Solos.” Despite Kamryn Beck's return to the ALDC, her rival, Chloe Lukasiak, will reportedly sit out this week’s performance because of a foot injury. “Each team member will perform a solo, except Chloe,” says Miller. “Kamryn will actually be performing.”

Miller’s decision to bench her longtime student doesn’t appear to sit too well with dance mom Christi Lukasiak, who's in tears in the episode’s promo while Chloe, 13, ices her injured foot. “Abby will snatch away any opportunity Chloe has to dance at nationals,” says Lukasiak. “I want our best shot at winning to be out on that stage,” Miller explains of her decision to bench Chloe, who at one point is shown sporting a boot. “You’re only as good as your last performance.”

[SPOILER ALERT]

Miller appears to have followed through with her decision. One "Dance Moms" spoiler site reports that Chloe did not participate in the show. Kendall Vertes, Nia Frazier, Mackenzie Ziegler, Kamryn Beck, and Maddie Ziegler each reportedly performed at least one previously competed solo at ALDC recital "The Story of Maryen Lorrain: One for the History Books" at the Hillman Center for Performing Arts in Pittsburgh June 27-28.

Recital attendees report that while the girls were not competiting for a win this week, the team did premiere a new jazz number about a jewelry robbery entitled “Heist.” The team will also made encore performances of their most memorable numbers from Season 4, including “Girlz Night Out," "Just Another Number” and “Frost.” While "Dance Moms" viewers were not shown the group’s contemporary number "Playing With Matches" in episode 27, the controversially judged number was reportedly performed at the recital. It's not known if the dance will be shown on air.

“Dance Moms” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
