‘Dancing With The Stars’ 2015 Spoilers: Week 7 Teams Revealed; Which Couples Will Compete During Season 21’s Halloween Episode?
Things are going to get pretty spooky on “Dancing With the Stars” when the remaining Season 21 contestants channel their inner goblins and ghouls during Monday night’s Halloween-themed episode. But in addition to the eight couples taking on their own thrilling, Week 7 routines, the “DWTS” competitors are also tasked with learning a second dance -- the 2015 season’s first group dance!
So, which contestants will be going severed head-to-severed head during the chilling, upcoming installment? Well, it was revealed that Derek Hough’s partner Bindi Irwin will be leading Team #WhoYouGonnaCall, which is made up of Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas, Carlos PenaVega and Whitney Carson, and Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold. Considering the name of the Week 7 group, it’s safe to say Team #WhoYouGonnaCall will pay tribute to the 1984 supernatural comedy flick “Ghostbusters.” (Who else thinks the campy routine is right up Mark’s ally?)
Meanwhile, Sharna Burgess’ partner Nick Carter was dubbed Team Captain of Team #Nightmare. Tamar Braxton and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Andy Grammer and Allison Holker, and Hayes Grier and Emma Slater will put their eeriest foot forward along with the Backstreet Boys member during the ghostly group routine.
The two teams will compete against one another on the ballroom floor to see who can earn the most wicked score from the judges. The final scores will then be added to the number each couple earned from their individual routine to determine whether they’ll be safe from elimination.
It was also revealed that “King of Queens” star Leah Remini, who was a semi-finalist on Season 17 of “DWTS,” will reprise her co-hosting duties during Week 7 of the ABC reality dance competition, while Erin Andrews, Tom Bergeron’s partner in crime, covers the World Series as Fox’s MLB sideline reporter.
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
