‘Dancing With The Stars’ 2016 Predictions: Who Will Win The Season 22 Mirror Ball Trophy? [THEORIES]
“Dancing With the Stars” will crown a new king and queen of the ballroom during the Season 22 finale of the hit ABC series. But which dancing duo will sashay away with the Mirror Ball Trophy on Tuesday night? With the competition so fierce, any one of the remaining three couples could be taking home the coveted title of “DWTS” champions.
But out of all the remaining contestants, there seems to be a clear front-runner in the competition: Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd. In addition to the twosome winning over judges and audiences throughout the 2016 installment with their unique and tear-jerking performances, they’ve also made the knees of past “DWTS” winners buckle. Bindi Irwin, who took home the Season 21 trophy, dished to “Good Morning America” on Tuesday her feelings on the team who redefines what it is to dance week after week.
Bindi began, stating that it was “really tough” to pick who would be the new winner, but confessed that out of all Monday night’s performances “Nyle and Peta were just spectacular.”
“The whole world stopped to watch and feel them dance,” she gushed, stating that both Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy as well as Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas were “gorgeous as well.”
Maksim Chermkovskiy, whose fiancée and brother are competing in the finals, revealed that he agreed with Bindi’s prediction. However, the Season 20 winner dished that viewers will determine who the winner will be by choosing the couple whose Week 10 freestyle “made them feel something.”
On Monday, each duo earned a perfect score for their freestyle routines. But ultimately it was Paige and Mark who took home the top score with 59 out of 60, while Ginger and Val trailed behind with a score of 58. Nyle and Peta pulled in the lowest numbers with a 57 out of 60.
