‘Dancing With The Stars’ 2016 Spoilers: Week 5 Songs And Dances Revealed; What To Expect From Switch-Up Night
Time to shake things up. Monday night, the remaining nine couples on Season 22 of “Dancing With the Stars” will pull the ol’ switcheroo as they hit the dance floor with new partners. But which style of dance and song will have the new duos busting moves during the anticipated Switch-Up night in Week 5 of the hit ABC series?
In an Instagram post, Jodie Sweetin revealed she will engage in a daring paso doble with her new partner Val Chmerkovskiy to the tantalizing track “Under Control” by Calvin Harris and Alesso. Meanwhile, Paige VanZant and Sasha Farber will perform a romantic rumba to “Perfect” by One Direction. But will the judges find their routine as flawless as their song title?
Nyle DiMarco and Sharna Burgess will also do a dreamy dance as they take on a Viennese waltz to the single “I Get to Love You” by Ruelle. As Nyle twirls Sharna around the ballroom, Peta Murgatroyd will swivel her hips alongside Doug Flutie during their tango to “Black and Gold” by Sam Sparro.
But Peta and Doug won’t be the only couple presenting a Latin-inspired routine. Ginger Zee and Mark Ballas will heat up the ballroom during their Week 5 salsa with Eddie Palmieri’s “La Malanga” as their soundtrack, while Antonio Brown and Karina Smirnoff tear the dance floor up with a cha-cha to Dusty Springfield’s “Son of a Preacher Man.”
Fans of “DWTS” can also anticipate another Viennese waltz to be performed by Kim Fields and Keo Motsepe. The two will glide around the dance floor to Otis Redding’s “These Arms of Mine.” In addition, Von Miller and Lindsay Arnold will pick up the speed as they take on the jive to “Hips” by Beans & Fatback, while Wanya Morris and Witney Carson will present a sensual tango to “Hold Back the River” by James Bay.
Who do you think will come out on top during “Dancing With the Stars” Season 22, Week 5? Sound off in the comments section below. “Dancing With the Stars” airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT.
