'Dancing With The Stars:' Elizabeth Berkley Recreates Epic 'Saved By The Bell' Moment On 'DWTS'
If you grew up in the '90s, “Saved by the Bell” was probably one of your favorite TV shows, and if it was, then you know the iconic episode where Jessie Spano (played by Elizabeth Berkley) has a complete nervous breakdown because she's addicted to caffeine pills, breaking out into the Pointer Sisters' “I’m so excited” and launching a fad.
The original video:
Long after her "Saved by the Bell" fame, Elizabeth Berkley is now a contestant on ABC hit show "Dancing With the Stars", and in week five of the current season, Berkley revisited her leg-warmer days with a tribute to one of the greatest scenes in television history. The theme of the show was "the most memorable year of your life."
Berkley and her "DWTS" partner Val Chmerkovskiy did a perfect rendition of Bayside pride that no doubt left every "Bell" fan feeling nostaglic. Berkley told E! News it was "surreal" to go back to her former character's wardrobe.
