‘Dancing With The Stars: Juniors’ Spoilers: Which Pair Will Be Eliminated In Week 2?
The first episode saw the pint-sized pairs of “Dancing With the Stars: Junior” pull out impressive routines before “Masterchef: Junior” champ Addison Osta Smith and Tripp Palin were both eliminated. Now, with their second set of dances about to air, one more team will be forced to say goodbye on the ABC series.
Though episodes are pre-taped and the elimination has already occurred, some teams seem more likely than others to be at risk of saying goodbye. Since there are no live votes carrying over each week, with only votes from the judges and the studio audience counting toward scores, it’s not necessarily as easy to determine who is at most risk of elimination. However, a few teams seem more likely to be eliminated than the others.
Based solely on the judges’ scores the team that seems most at risk of elimination would be Team Emma, consisting of “Raven’s Home” star Jason Maybaum and “Dance Moms” alum Elliana Walmsley. Of the remaining teams in the competition, they had the lowest score from the judges, only earning 18 points from the judges. If the same patterns emerge in scores for week 2, they are by far the pick to be eliminated.
Also likely to be eliminated due to scores are Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and Tristan Ianiero, who make up Team Artem. They only received one point higher from the judges than Jason and Elliana, and are also odds-on favorites to be eliminated next.
If prior experience with performing is taken into account, then Akash Vukoti and Kamri Peterson, Team Witney, are most likely to be eliminated. While they did score well in Week one, earning 21 judge’s points, compared to everyone else left in the competition, he has the least experience with performing. Being able to perform well is a critical component to selling a routine to the judges and the audience in order to get higher scores, and his lack of experience in that department could hurt him.
If the show were to have a surprising elimination happen, then Hudson West and Kameron Couch, also known as Team Hayley, could be the ones to go home. Despite tying in third place with several other teams by earning 22 points, the pro mentors also play a big part in the competition. Though Brandon Armstrong is also newer to the pro scene, Hayley Ebert’s skills haven’t really been tested in this arena. Unless Hudson and Kameron’s scores reach the top of the leaderboard, they could also be at risk.
“Dancing With the Stars: Juniors” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
