‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pro Witney Carson Shares Photo With Husband Carson McAllister, Reveals Where They're Celebrating Honeymoon
Witney Carson is celebrating her honeymoon at the happiest place on earth! On Sunday, the “Dancing With the Stars” pro shared a photo of herself and husband Carson McAllister enjoying their first few days as a married couple at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
“Not even a rainy day could stop us from going to the happiest place in the world!” Carson captioned the sweet photo of her and her new hubby sharing a kiss in front of Cinderella’s Castle. “Thanks @waltdisneyworld for helping us start our #honeymoon off right!”
Carson tied the knot to her high school sweetheart on New Year’s Day in a three-part celebration that took place in the Salt Lake City area.
"I'm just excited to start our lives together," the eager bride told People magazine before she and her beau exchanged vows during their Utah-inspired wedding.
“The inspiration for the wedding came from my hometown in Utah,” the 22-year-old dancer from American Fork explained to The Knot. “It’s so beautiful here and I’ve always loved it! I wanted the wedding to be cozy and warm, romantic, and embody the essence of Utah in winter. I’ve always wanted my wedding to be simple yet romantic, but can still give people an impression of who Carson and I are together.”
Carson and McAllister, 23, along with the help of celebrity wedding planner Michael Russo, planned the rustic, woodsy wedding in just three short months. “We don’t like to waste any time,” Carson said, revealing she was eager to marry McAllister who proposed to her in October.
According to reports, Emma Slater, Brittany Cherry and Jenna Johnson, Carson’s co-stars and friends from the hit ABC series “DWTS,” acted as bridesmaids in the wedding while Lindsay Arnold served as Carson’s matron of honor. The son of Alfonso Ribeiro, Carson’s Season 19 Mirror Ball-winning partner, was also appointed a role in Carson’s wedding as the ring bearer!
"He is so special to me," Carson dished to Us Weekly of why she involved her former dancer partner in the ceremony. “They’re family!”
