‘Dancing With The Stars’ Winner Bindi Irwin, Boyfriend Chandler Powell Still Going Strong

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 21 winner Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s relationship is still going strong.

Just recently, the adorable couple spent some quality time at the Byron Bay in New South Wales, where they basked under the sun and had a picnic. Irwin posted a photo from their recent getaway via her Instagram account and called the location “glorious.” Irwin and Powell just reunited in Australia on New Year’s Day after a month of being apart. The latter returned to the United States in December to continue his course at one of the colleges in Florida. At that time, Irwin penned a touching goodbye for her boyfriend.

Irwin and Powell first met in November 2013 when the latter visited the Australia Zoo. The former and her family work and reside in the area. Since then, they have been in a long-distance relationship. Things got slightly easier for the young couple when Irwin joined “Dancing With the Stars” Season 21. Since she had to be in the United States for three months, she got to spend time with Powell. In fact, the professional wake boarder was always present during her life performances in the hit ABC reality TV competition.

Meanwhile, despite their steady and happy relationship, Irwin slammed rumors that they are already talking about tying the knot. While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the 18-year-old said that getting engaged and getting married are not her biggest priorities at the moment. “I don’t think I’m at a point in my life where marriage and getting engaged is really a huge priority right now for me. Maybe in five years, but right now I’m really happy with where I’m at,” she said.
