Danica Patrick Says Her Dating Standards Are ‘Off The Charts’ After Aaron Rodgers Breakup

Danica Patrick feels she has grown following her split from Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and that her next boyfriend has his work cut out for him.

Patrick and Rodgers split in July after two years of dating. The retired NASCAR driver recently opened up about her expectations from her future boyfriend on Quibi’s “The Rachel Hollis Show,” saying she now knows what she wants from a relationship.

“I’m getting more to me. I’m figuring out like — dude, the next guy has his work cut out for him because my intuition, my standards, my boundaries, my wants and needs are like off the charts because I’ve gotten to know me so much more. So it’s going to be so much more narrow and specific,” she said.

“And I think that’s the challenge with a relationship is like — and I said this at the beginning of the last relationship — I was like, look, you either grow together, one grows and one doesn’t, or you grow apart,” she continued.

Patrick has been largely silent regarding the reasons for her split with Rodgers. But she has been vocal about her breakup journey with her Instagram followers, thanking them for their support as she moves on.

Recently, Rodgers also got candid about his life, saying he has made certain changes in his life that have put him in a better headspace.

“I have just a new and increased love of life,” he said on “The Pat McAfee Show” on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio.

“And I’ve made decisions and changes and habits that put me in a lot better head space and there’s just a lot of things that have come together in my life over the last few months that have really been enjoyable and reminded me, given me perspective, on life and in football to view things through the most positive lens I possibly can,” he added.

Prior to his romance with Patrick, Rodgers dated actress Olivia Munn for three years before calling it quits in 2017. Meanwhile, Patrick had dated fellow professional racer Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
