Daniel Radcliffe was spotted with a mustache and a curly hairdo on the sets of "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story."
The 32-year-old actor looked unrecognizable in the new look. In a set of photos shared by a fan on Twitter, the actor could be seen wearing a camouflage shirt and black pants. He completed his look with checked white and black shoes.
Radcliffe was smiling in the photos while walking with a cup of coffee in his hands.
"Daniel Radcliff apparently thinks he has the superpowers of mystique and honestly. I might be wrong for doubting him. lol," one person wrote, while another replied, "More importantly, Weird Al thinks Radcliffe has those powers. He hired him for this role personally."
Another user shared a photo of the actor and singer Weird Al, comparing their looks.
"Yeah, I have no idea why they picked him. Don't get me wrong, Daniel is a pretty good actor. But this, this does is not Weird Al. I'm sorry but no," the user commented. "This a cosplay y'all! But hey, there's still a chance that it might be good, or at least decent. Who knows."
"Weird: The Al Yankovic Story" is an upcoming biopic based on the singer's life. The 62-year-old, whose real name is Alfred Matthew Yankovic, is popularly known for making parody songs.
Yankovic, who co-wrote the script of the movie with Eric Appel, took to Twitter on Saturday to share some spoilers. He posted a photo featuring the ending line of the script that read, "Cut to BLACK. CREDIT CRAWL BEGINS."
Yankovic first shared the news about making a movie featuring Radcliffe in January.
The singer praised Radcliffe for portraying the character. "I am absolutely thrilled that Daniel Radcliffe will be portraying me in the film," he told Deadline. "I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the role future generations will remember him for."
Aside from "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story," Radcliffe will be next seen in the star-studded comedy movie "The Lost City," which is slated to release on March 25.
