Danielle Fishel ‘Topanga’ Went To Prom With Lance Bass [PHOTO]; 4 Other Celebrity Prom Photos

Cory Matthews apparently wasn’t Topanga's only high school squeeze. “Boy Meets World” actress Danielle Fishel admitted to her Twitter followers Monday that she went to prom with equally famous '90s teen star Lance Bass of 'N Sync.

“A lot of people in disbelief that [Lance Bass] and I went to prom together. He asked me with 12 roses and a cute note! #awesomedate,” said Fishel, 31, who dated the pop singer briefly as a teen.

Fishel told fans on an episode of her advice show, "Dear Danielle," that Bass originally told the her he wouldn't make it to her senior prom because of a scheduled tour in Japan.

"I was so sad, and then about a week later I got three dozen roses in the mail with a card that said, 'Plans have changed. I will be in town. Can I take you to prom? Check 'yes' or 'no.' So of course I checked box 'yes'!" Fishel said.

Bass confirmed the claim by posting a photo of the pair posing before the big night. Fishel can be seen sporting a floor-length white gown with leg and back cut-outs; Bass wore a traditional black tux.

Bass commented on his look earlier this week, saying, “Gotta love my platinum hair and oversized tux!”

Fishel is currently working on reprising her role as Topanga Lawrence in the "Boy Meets World" spin-off, "Girl Meets World," with her longtime co-star Ben Savage.

Singer Taylor Swift’s tour schedule kept her from attending her own senior prom, so, instead, she accompanied a fan to his own celebration in 2008. The entire event was captured by MTV for the televised special “Once Upon a Prom.”

“There’s not as much time for the stuff I thought I would be doing my senior year of high school,” said Swift, who hand-chose Hillcrest High School senior Whit Wright as her date. Swift said she chose the Tuscaloosa, Ala., native, because he was down to earth and referred to him as “all-American.”

Demi Lovato

Disney "Camp Rock" alumnus Demi Lovato shared a picture of her prom night with her fans in 2010. Lovato said plans for the special night were made back in kindergarten with her date, Texas native Nolan Nard.

“How sweet! And a Rolls-Royce to the dance. Not too shabby,” tweeted Lovato.

Selena Gomez

On year prior, Lovato crashed a different prom with childhood friend and fellow Disney actress Selena Gomez of "Wizards of Waverly Place."

“Best principal ever! Thank you for letting us crash your prom!” wrote Gomez, who said she went to the celebration with no date and danced all night.

Taylor Lautner

Before Taylor Lautner’s role in “Twilight” that rocketed him into superstardom, the actor enjoyed a night of being a regular teen attending his high school prom with a friend.

“It was really a lot of fun. It was a long night. I think we finished at 12 or 1 in the morning,” Lautner told PopSugar in 2009. “You always watch a prom in movies growing up and then it’s like, ‘Oh wow, I’m at prom!’ It was a cool experience,” he said.
