Fans who can’t get enough of “Dare Me” may be disappointed when they try to tune into the USA network’s cheerleading drama on Sunday night. Instead of watching the latest showdown in Sutton Grove, viewers will be greeted with a “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” marathon.

Sports fans know that Sunday, Feb. 2 is Super Bowl Sunday, which means millions of football lovers will be tuning into Fox to watch Super Bowl LIV. Since the game is one of the most popular sporting events of the year, most networks opt-out of airing new content so their ratings won’t suffer.

Unfortunately, that means “Dare Me” fans will have to wait another week before they find out how the events that happened in Sutton Grove will affect the community.

In episode 5, “Parallel Trenches,” viewers saw ruthless high school cheerleader, Beth (Marlo Kelly), pretending to like she was perfectly fine following a wild hotel party.

However, viewers were aware that the teen was sexually assaulted by Kurtz (Chris Zylka). Following the attack, Beth has been falling apart on the inside, while maintaining her icy exterior.

After learning about the party, Will (Zach Roerig) reached out to Colette (Willa Fitzgerald) and told her he suspected Kurtz took advantage of Beth.

Although the cheer coach and the self-proclaimed top girl have struggled to get along, it appears Colette may be the only person that Beth can talk to about the attack.

From the looks of the “Dare Me” Season 1, episode 6 promo video, Beth will continue her downward spiral and Colette will be on hand to give someone a lesson in tough love.

“Dare Me” Season 1, episode 6 is expected to air Sunday, Feb. 9 at 10 p.m. EST on USA network.
