David Beckham, Son Brooklyn New Hiking Buddies, Share Touching Father-Son Moment
David Beckham recently spent quality time with his 16-year-old son, Brooklyn, and even shared a candid father-and-son moment on Instagram.
The former soccer player took to Instagram Wednesday, and posted a touching picture of himself with Brooklyn, E! News reported. The image showed Brooklyn smiling at the camera while his famous father gave him a hug and a sweet kiss on the temple. Beckham captioned the picture, "Something tells me I love this not so little man so much…. Growing up fast into a perfect gentleman and hiking buddy….I love you big boy.”
This was not the first time David and Brooklyn hung out together. The doting father previously revealed that he also accompanied his son during his first date. According to E!, during an appearance on the “Late Late Show” last March, he shared how the then 14-year-old told him that he wanted to take a girl out to dinner.
"On his first date, which he was about 14 and a half, Victoria was actually in London. It was Valentine's Day and he said, 'I'd love to take this girl to dinner. So we took him to a small sushi restaurant and he sat at the sushi bar and I sat about five tables back," Beckham said.
Meanwhile, Beckham was recently criticized after he was spotted with his four-year-old daughter, Harper, who was sucking on a pacifier. Critics called out the former Los Angeles Galaxy player for letting his daughter use a pacifier at her age, given that it could cause dental issues and affect the child’s speech development.
Victoria Beckham’s husband took to Instagram to defend himself and his daughter, stated Time. David wrote, “Everybody who has children knows that when they aren't feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best and most of the time it's a pacifier so those who criticize think twice about what you say about other people's children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent.”
David and Victoria have four children together, namely Brooklyn, Rome, Cruz and Harper.
