Dax Shepard Busts Kristen Bell For Leaving Toilet Paper On The Seat [Video]
Dax Shepard has busted Kristen Bell for leaving toilet paper on the seat after using the bathroom. Interestingly, the actress' reaction tells a lot about how she feels about restroom breaks.
The couple recorded their entire conversation in three separate clips, and Bell, 41, took to Instagram Monday to share them with her 14.8 million followers.
In the first clip, the 46-year-old actor showed some used sheets of tissue paper left on the toilet seat. In the background, he could be heard asking Bell, "What was the intention?"
He went on to ask, "Was it to be in the toilet bowl or in the trash can because now that I have to finish the task you started, I just want to make sure I do it correctly."
"Obviously, I didn't care," the actress said as she slammed the tissue paper into the toilet.
The actor jokingly said, "Good to know. And in the future, always, that's where it was supposed to go?"
"The Good Place" star tried to explain, "It was dark in here."
Shepard responded immediately, "It's dark in here a lot apparently because that happens, I don't know, four, five days a week."
Bell then shared her opinion on peeing. "Peeing is such a waste of time, so when I'm in there, I'm just looking to get off as quickly as possible and wrap it up."
Shepard could be heard in the background saying, "And you just let the toilet paper go wherever it goes?"
In the last clip, Shepard continued, "You have to imagine how many times I've seen that before I decided to say something." Bell quickly apologized afterward.
In the post's caption, Bell wrote, "I got busted by @daxshepard. But Peeing IS a waste of time, and stand by that statement."
A number of people took to the comments section to express solidarity with the actress.
One of them was author Jen Pastiloff, who wrote, "I hate peeing and I hold off as long as possible-same with getting gas."
"Dude!!! Peeing is so overrated!! Been there. Done that," a fan wrote.
Meanwhile, some netizens praised the couple's relationship.
"If my relationship isn't going to be like this I don't want it," a fan commented.
The actress has two children with Shepard -- Delta, 6, and Lincoln, 8. The couple got married in 2013.
On the work front, the actress will be seen in the comedy movie "Queenpins," which is slated for release on Aug. 26.
Shepard, on the other hand, recently lent his voice to the animated comedy movie "Paw Patrol: The Movie," which will be released on Aug. 11.
