- President Barack Obama will attend campaign events in Colorado early Thursday, before traveling to Wisconsin where he will speak at an event hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Obama is traveling to the coveted swing state the day after delivering what pundits have deemed to be an unimpressive debate performance against his Republican challenger Mitt Romney. Obama won Wisconsin by 14 points in 2008, According to a Marquette Law School survey released Wednesday, 53 percent of the voters in the state say they support the president, compared to 42 percent who said they backed Romney.

- Vice President Joe Biden is campaigning in Iowa on Thursday, where he will discuss the president’s plan to “restore middle-class economic security,” the Des Moines Register reports.

-First Lady Michelle Obama raised at least $17.5 million for the president's campaign since the start of the year, Bloomberg News reports, noting she raised at least $5.1 million in August alone.
