‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Abigail Confronts Kate About Chad

She overheard her telling Chad that he should be with Gabi, and now, on the Thursday, April 6 episode of “Days of Our Lives,” Abigail will confront Kate for meddling in Chad’s personal life.

Previously on the NBC soap, Abigail (Marci Miller) overheard Kate (Lauren Koslow) tell Chad (Billy Flynn) that he should choose Gabi (Camila Banus) over his wife, who she felt was too much like her Horton ancestors. Chad did tell Kate that he was going to be with Abigail anyway because he did love her and also had a son with her, but Abigail knows the comments have affected him. She is also very aware of how her husband feels about Gabi, and wants to make sure nothing will stand in the way of them getting their family back.

Now, as she and Chad continue planning their vow renewal ceremony, Abigail will decide the only way to give herself some piece of mind about Chad and Gabi is to confront Kate and warn her to back off. She will seek her out and tell her that while she may not think Abigail is right for a DiMera, she is right for Chad, especially since she usually keeps him from embracing the darker side of his family tree. Kate may still scoff at the idea that Abigail is a perfect fit for Chad, but Abigail won’t relent.

After her confrontation with Kate however, Abigail may still have some insecurities. Though Chad has promised he won’t see Gabi anymore until after he’s gotten over his feelings for her, he didn’t just have an attraction to her. What he had with Gabi while Abigail was gone was genuine love, and Abigail will continue to worry that he won’t just get over it, no matter how many steps they take to try and keep committed to one another.
