‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Abigail Makes A Life-Changing Decision About Her Future

She was set to renew her vows with the man she loves and get a fresh start on her marriage. However, after her doubts get the best of her, Abigail will make a shocking and life-changing decision about her future with Chad instead on the Monday, April 17 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Abigail (Marci Miller) has had doubts for a while about Chad’s (Billy Flynn) love for her, because he also loves Gabi (Camila Banus), who he began dating when he believed his wife was dead. However, previously on the NBC soap, he seemed to be fully committed to the idea of forgetting about Gabi and reaffirming his commitment to Abigail. But after discovering an old yearbook message from high school, Abigail has decided to call off the vow renewal ceremony.

While searching for photos of Chad, she not only saw a passage Gabi wrote in his yearbook that suggested the feelings the two shared went deeper than she expected, but she also found a reference which proved that Chad wasn’t only committed to her. When Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) poisoned both Abigail and Gabi, Chad administered the antidote to his wife first, but Abigail has since realized he had planned all along to give the rest of it to Gabi, and had used a secret signal between the two to let her know that he was going to help her as well.

Now, after telling Chad she genuinely believes that Gabi is the one he truly loves and wants in his life on a permanent basis, Abigail will not only call off the wedding, but decide to end their relationship completely. She will pack a bag and move out of DiMera Mansion, despite Chad’s pleas for her to stay. But even though leaving will break her heart, Abigail will remain determined and decide the only way to see if Chad is completely devoted to her, is to let him go.
