‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Abigail Reveals The Father Of Her Baby

She has been dreading the moment she finds out which man is the father of her baby, and now, Abigail will finally get the answers she needs on the Monday, July 16 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Abigail (Marci Miller) previously learned she was pregnant on the NBC soap but wasn’t sure who had fathered the child. While she herself had slept with her husband, Chad (Billy Flynn), her alter, “Gabby,” had slept with his brother, Stefan (Tyler Christopher), meaning either man could be the child’s father. With Gabi’s (Camila Banus) help, she secretly secured the DNA samples she needed for a paternity test, and now, the results are in.

Much to Abigail’s dismay, she will read that the baby is actually Stefan’s, and she will be devastated. The news is going to be hard to swallow because she will be unsure what the right move is concerning the baby’s future. Not only does she not want to have a child with Stefan, she also does not want a reminder of how she had been unfaithful to her husband, no matter how out of control of the situation she was.

However, as she leans on Gabi for support following the news, she may not realize that her best friend may actually have had something to do with her current predicament.

Gabi has wanted revenge on both Abigail and Stefan because he and “Gabby” had been the ones responsible for her going to jail for Andre’s (Thaao Penghlis) murder. While she was in prison, she survived brutal attempts on her life, but the entire situation has had major consequences since she left prison.

First, her own daughter, Arianna, became hostile to her and hasn’t been overly welcoming to her mother because she felt betrayed by her leaving. Now, Gabi has also learned that due to the attack on her, and the resulting surgery to save her life, she suffered from an infection—one that has likely rendered her unable to have another child again in the future. Because of everything she has endured, she has wanted revenge, and she may have secretly found a way to successfully pull off the plot.

Gabi had been at Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) desk when the results came in for Abigail’s test, and she was left alone with them, giving her both time and access to potentially cause some damage. A preview clip for the week’s episodes also shows her burning the results of the test and saying how she needs to switch them. If she successfully managed to swap the results before they were given to Abigail, then she is keeping the truth from her former friend—and unleashing a whole lot of havoc as a result.
