‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Can Claire Be Stopped Before It’s Too Late?
She has officially gone over the edge after realizing that Tripp and Ciara knew the truth about her starting the fires that nearly killed them. Now, as she prepares to burn the cabin in the woods down once and for all with herself and Ciara inside, Marlena will try to do her best to get there and stop Claire from committing the worst crime yet on the Tuesday, July 2 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
After realizing she was being set up to confess to her previous offenses, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) attempted to kill Tripp (Lucas Adams) by holding a knife to his throat. Since then, she knocked out both him and Ciara (Victoria Konefal), and then dragged the other girl to the same cabin she nearly died in before on the NBC soap. Like when she was there the first time and the second time, after Jordan (Chrishell Stause Hartley) kidnapped her and tried to burn the cabin down as well, Ciara was tied to the bed, and no attempt to talk Claire down seemed to work, as the other girl poured gasoline around the cabin and prepared to light a blaze that would end her pain and take Ciara with her.
Meanwhile, Marlena (Deidre Hall), Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) have been actively working to track the women and stop the worst from happening. It appears Marlena and Ben may arrive before a new blaze is set—but it will take a miracle to convince Claire not to set everything up in flames.
“Marlena tries to get through to Claire,” spoilers reveal.
Not only is Marlena Claire’s grandmother, but as a licensed therapist, she may be the only one who can find a way to get through to her without it causing death and destruction. If anyone can successfully get her to not start another fire, it will be her, but it will still be a monumental task since no one really knows just how far gone she is or what is causing her to act out the way she has.
However, Claire isn’t the only one who is going to be on the receiving end of some major talks or even a nasty confrontation. Tripp will also get some backlash for his role in Claire’s losing touch with reality, as well as his plan to try and force her to confess, which led to the current situation, when her father, Shawn (Brandon Beemer), is briefed on what has happened.
“Shawn learns about Claire and lashes out at Tripp,” spoilers reveal.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
