‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Can Eric And Nicole Successfully Beat Xander?

They want to do whatever they can to be together. Now, as they take things to the next level, Eric and Nicole will continue to contemplate what they can do to successfully beat Xander and accomplish their goal on the Friday, Oct. 12 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Eric (Greg Vaughan) was ecstatic when he found Nicole (Arianne Zucker) again in Nashville, but the joy about finding her quickly turned to shock and horror on the NBC soap. As it turned out, Zander (Paul Telfer) had found her first, after confiscating the recording of her confession to Deimos’ (Vincent Irizarry) murder. After he found her, he blackmailed her and forced her to marry him, with the threat that if she didn’t do what he asked, he would turn the recording in and destroy her life.

Since then, Eric and Nicole have been trying to think of a way to outsmart Zander. They do want to be together because they love one another but know that he’s a truly formidable threat. Nicole previously suggested murdering him too, but Eric warned her that it was not only not a solution, but she wasn’t a natural-born killer, and it’d be against her character to commit another grisly crime. The two decided the best thing to do would be to find the recording and get it back from Xander, because, without it, he loses all of the power he has.

First, they will decide that they want to cement their commitment to one another, and their plan for escape. Happy to be reunited, they will share another passionate kiss, one which will lead to them making love as well. However, as the glow from that begins to wear off, the grim reality of their situation will once again remain as they remember what they need to do.

Now, the question for them both will be whether or not they can actually find the recording, and if they do, how they’ll get it back. Viewers are aware that Xander has it locked away in the warehouse he and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) have also stashed the mysterious patient E.D. Breaking in will be their only hope—if it’s possible at all.
