‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Chad And Gabi Are Caught In A Compromising Position

They’ve reunited since becoming stranded on an island with a few other Salem residents. However, a romantic moment between Chad and Gabi will be interrupted when they’re caught getting passionate by some of their fellow castaways on the Monday, June 19 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Chad (Billy Flynn) had tried to find a way to convince Abigail (Marci Miller) to fight for their marriage, but after he initially went to Greece, he was stunned when she served him with divorce papers on the NBC soap. Since then, he has grown closer to Gabi (Camila Banus) again. Things have gotten particularly stronger between them since the jet they were on, which also carried Sonny (Freddie Smith), Paul (Christopher Sean), JJ (Casey Moss), Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey), crashed and stranded them all on an island.

However, despite the bond between them growing strong again, they’ve been somewhat resistant to getting too romantic because they’ve previously been afraid that once they were rescued and returned to Salem, they would feel differently, since Abigail is still there. However, after they sent out their last flare and received no indication that anyone knew they were on the island and would be coming to find them, the two decided to throw caution aside and give in to the way they actually feel.

As Gabi cried over possibly never being found, Chad tried consoling her, and the two reminded each other of the feelings they shared, expressing that they were in love. Deciding to finally give in to their passion, they began to kiss, and things began to escalate from there. However, now, they will be interrupted when some fellow castaways approach, and unfortunately, one of the people who sees them will be JJ, who not only happens to be Chad’s brother-in-law, but is also Gabi’s ex-boyfriend.

The moment afterwards will be exceedingly awkward for them all, because of the history in their relationships. In addition, JJ could still wind up expressing some anger towards Chad because he doesn’t believe he should be divorcing his sister, because the two of them have been through so much together, and it doesn’t seem right that they are just giving up. Chad may once again defend himself and remind JJ that Abigail was the one who gave up on them, and he will reiterate that he does love Gabi as well.

However, the interruption could also be one which concerns some exceedingly good news, though the timing will be poor. JJ and Lani may approach the two to reveal that someone has finally found them and they can go back to Salem and resume their lives the way they used to. While both Gabi and Chad will be eager to return home, mostly for the sake of their children whom they both miss, it may not be lost on them about the timing behind their rescue and their attempt to cement their relationship. And when they prepare to go home, they may once again decide that it’s time for things to cool off between them.
