He was without question the most hated man in all of Salem, and anyone in town would have paid to see him die. But now that Deimos has been murdered, nearly everyone in town will be left scrambling as they all become suspects in the crime on the Thursday, June 29 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) had drugged all of the drinks at the party at Marton House with Halo 2.0 on the NBC Soap, and he was enjoying watching as chaos swept through the assorted guests. Everyone was quickly feeling the effects of the drug and no one acted the way they would normally because of it. Among the crazy behaviors were Nicole (Arianne Zucker) kissing Eric (Greg Vaughan), Rafe (Galen Gering) proposing to Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) thinking they were renewing their vows, JJ (Casey Moss) making out with Gabi (Camila Banus), and Lani (Sal Stowers) making out with Eli (Lamon Archey).

However, the most shocking moment of all came much later in the night, when Deimos was discovered by Sonny (Freddie Smith) after he stole the amulet. Among those who were looking for him at the time were Sonny, Lani, Eli, Chad, Abigail, potentially Eric, Hope, Rafe, Gabi and JJ. Now, after Gabi stumbles across Deimos’ body, with a knife plunged through his heart, everyone who was at the party will become a suspect in the murder—and whoever did kill him may not even remember doing so because of the drugs.

All of the people who were looking for him have motivations for wanting him dead, which will only add to the amount of investigating that will need to be done as the cops—the ones not in attendance at the party—try to figure out who committed murder.

Sonny wanted Deimos gone for all the damage he had done while running the Kiriakis family company, and because the two were mortal enemies from the minute Sonny came back to town. In addition, Deimos had warned him that he might have lost Paul (Christopher Sean), whom he had knocked unconscious earlier in the evening and left for dead. JJ and Lani want revenge for Deimos producing Halo, which Lani had been forced to OD on when she was investigating the drug’s presence in town. Chad and Abigail want revenge for numerous things, though, along with Gabi, they want payback for his attempting to poison and kill both women. Gabi and Rafe also want revenge for his setting up Ed (A. Martinez) and getting him sent to prison. Hope also wants him dead because he was the one who had orchestrated Bo’s kidnapping so long ago, which had prevented the man she loved from getting the treatment he needed to defeat a terminal brain tumor. As for Nicole and Eric, the motivation is clear because of Deimos being the mastermind behind the plot to kidnap Nicole and Holly forever, and his nearly causing Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) death when Xander (Paul Telfer) shot him.

With so many different motivations, anyone could have been the killer. Now, with a large list of suspects to mine through, it could take a long while before the real killer is exposed.
