‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: How Far Is Kristen Willing To Go?
It was revealed that the Nicole who came back to Salem and has been seemingly mourning her daughter’s death isn’t really the Nicole that so many people loved and cared for. Now, with the reveal that she is actually Kristen DiMera in disguise, the plan she and Xander have for Salem will become more of a reality on the Tuesday, May 28 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
Everyone in Salem has noticed that Nicole (Arianne Zucker) isn’t herself, but it’s been chalked up to the fact that she is mourning Holly after the young girl’s apparent death in a car crash on the NBC soap. Among her strange behaviors have been times where she lashed out and wanted nothing to do with Eric (Greg Vaughan), Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), but wanted Brady (Eric Martsolf) by her side again. There is a good reason for that, however, as it was later revealed when she was back at the Salem Inn with Xander (Paul Tefler) that she wasn’t really Nicole, but Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) in disguise. Now, with the truth revealed, the real plan they are enacting in Salem will take shape.
“Xander and his partner’s plan comes into focus,” spoilers reveal.
Kristen clearly has one major objective in mind when it comes to her plan, and that is to finally get Brady back, even if she has to pretend to be Nicole to do it. While it’s not entirely clear how she intends to convince Brady to fall for Nicole again after how badly their story ended the last time, his known hero complex could be the thing that helps do him in, and that could be how Kristen hopes to snag him. If she pretends to be Nicole and pretends Holly is dead, she can use her “grief” to her advantage and potentially appeal to that side of Brady.
Meanwhile, Xander’s goal has been to get in at Titan and eventually run the company, even though no one in the Kiriakis clan will allow him to do so willingly. Brady did give him a job there however if he would agree to grant “Nicole” a divorce from when he blackmailed her into marriage, which gives him more power. If Kristen succeeds in getting Brady back and that jeopardizes his own role in the company, then Xander may also get the in he needs to take over the family company.
With Brady as the target in both cases, it will mean that he needs to be on alert if he ever gets any suspicions that something else is happening—or it could be too late for everyone should the devious pair succeed with their goals.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
