She realized that she couldn’t lie to him any longer and keep the truth about why Nicole really left Salem a secret. Now, Jennifer will confess everything to Eric—stunning him in a way he never imagined possible on the Monday, Sept. 24 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) has been keeping the truth from Eric (Greg Vaughan) for a while, knowing that if she revealed why Nicole (Arianne Walker) really left town and broke his heart on the NBC soap, it would mean the end of their own engagement. However, despite telling Eve (Kassie DePaiva) she wasn’t going to say anything, her conscience has gotten the best of her, and now, Jennifer is ready to share the truth with the man she loves.

Eric will be floored when he learns Nicole actually loved him when she abruptly left Salem, and that she only did so because Brady (Eric Martsolf) forced her to leave by blackmailing her. Naturally, he will also be angry, because he’s been lied to by not only Jennifer but his own brother, with whom he’s finally rebuilt a relationship with in recent weeks. That will be quickly come to an end, as he will be enraged by the betrayal.

Of course, Eric learning the truth won’t only have repercussions for his relationships with Jennifer and his brother. It will also have consequences for Eve and her own engagement to Brady because Eric learning the truth will mean she has to finally own up to her own misdeeds, which will effectively end any future she and Brady ever had.

Jennifer learned the truth about Brady forcing Nicole out of town after she confronted Eve for working with Victor (John Aniston) and planting drugs to make Theresa (Jen Lilley) look like an unfit parent when she and Brady were fighting over custody of Tate. Her plan then backfired and Brady was the one who lost the little boy, who now lives in California with his mother. If Brady learns the truth about Eve’s role in the loss, their relationship will also be blown up as a result.
