'Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers: Justin Shares The Shocking News About 'Adrienne'

He thought he was going to finally have a chance to reunite with his ex-wife and live happily ever after with her. Now, after an unexpected bombshell announcement from both her and his own uncle, Justin will start looking for answers on the Wednesday, Oct. 18 episode of "Days of Our Lives."

Justin (Wally Kurth) was previously elated when he believed Adrienne (Judi Evans) had chosen him over Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) after all, and was looking forward to rebuilding their life together on the NBC soap. However, that has now changed, after Victor (John Aniston) unexpectedly announced that he and Adrienne were in love, and he was divorcing Maggie (Suzanne rogers) so they could marry instead. Now, he and Maggie are both at a loss over what could have led to this unexpected change of events, and with hope it will provide some answers, he will seek out his former brother-in-law, Steve (Stephen Nichols), to see if he knows what may have led to this.

Steve will of course be stunned that Adrienne is planning to marry Victor of all people, because he never got an indication his sister would be interested in him. As he, Justin and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) put their heads together to try and figure out the mystery though, they could realize why this is actually happening, and put together the fact that the Adrienne that Justin has been living with, isn't Adrienne at all.

In fact, Adrienne was sent to Statesville to serve a prison sentence, after she was drugged and switched with her doppelganger, Bonnie (also Evans), who has since assumed her life in Salem. It was, in fact, Bonnie who dumped Lucas, reunited with Justin and moved into the Kiriakis Mansion, and has now found a way to convince Victor to be with her. She had hoped to achieve the goal of getting revenge on Maggie for a past slight, and now she feels she has earned it because she is going to marry Victor. What no one except Victor knows however, is that she is successfully convincing him to wed her because she's blackmailing him with the secret that he had ordered a hit on his brother, Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), something that could send him to jail, even though Deimos was killed by someone else.

Now, after they realize it's possible that Adrienne is not actually the same woman they all know and love, Justin and Steve will decide they need to figure out just what happened to her. Remembering that Hattie (Deidre Hall) was recently arrested after she kidnapped Marlena (also Hall) and tried to assume her life, Steve will decide she will be the only one who can give them answers. Doing so will mean he needs to take a trip to Statesville to see her, but it could wind up being worth it, as seeing Hattie may not only provide him with some necessary answers, but could also reunite him with his actual sister if he sees her there.
