'Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers: Rafe Presses Hope About Their Future

She has continually been putting off their plans to wed, despite their being engaged. Now, following a big fight, Rafe will press Hope for answers on why she refuses to get married, even though what she says may lead to them calling things off for good on the Thursday, Nov. 30 episode of "Days of Our Lives."

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) was furious when she learned that Rafe (Galen Gering) had accepted the position of interim police commissioner on the NBC soap after Abe (James Reynolds) fired her. However, what started as an argument over whether he did the right thing or not quickly turned into one about their relationship as a whole, and Rafe began asking his fiancée why she seemed unwilling to go forward with marriage plans. From there, he accused her of not wanting to actually marry him—and she eventually confirmed that she didn't.

Now, Rafe will continue trying to press her for more answers as to why, especially since she had accepted his proposal. Then, when he remembers how focused she seemed on his running off with ex-wife Sami (Alison Sweeney) to help her track down Will (Chandler Massey) in Memphis, it will dawn on him. Hope was focused on his going off with his own ex because she was also thinking of her own—one she has no chance at ever rekindling things with again.

Rafe will finally confront her about not wanting to move on with him because she is still hung up on losing Bo the way she did. Hope will admit that Bo is always on her mind, and moving on without him feels like a betrayal, and she can't truly get past things when she's committed to being with a man who will never be the one that truly stole her heart so many years before.

Knowing that he can never measure up to the ghost that is her ex, Rafe will then decide he isn't going to try any longer, because he won't succeed. He will tell Hope that she can continue clinging to her memories of Bo, because he will be done—and their engagement and relationship in general, will come to a shocking end.
