'Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers: Sami And Rafe's Secret Is Exposed

They've so far managed to find a way to keep anyone from knowing about what transpired between them one night. However, someone will finally realize that they slept together and are now trying to act like it never happened—and may use that information to their advantage on the Thursday, Dec. 14 episode of "Days of Our Lives."

After Sami (Alison Sweeney) thought she had screwed up her only chance of getting her son back into her life, and Rafe (Galen Gering) ended things with Hope (Kristian Alfonso) because she admitted she still wasn't over Bo, the two exes slept together on the NBC soap. Since then, they have both decided that it was the wrong decision, and tried to move past their indiscretion. So far, it has worked, as Hope and Rafe have reunited and become engaged once again, while Sami has found a middle ground with Will (Chandler Massey). However, both Sami and Rafe could find themselves in a slight panic when it becomes clear they aren't the only ones who know their secret any longer.

Sami has also since left Salem to return to her other kids in time for the holidays, so the threat the secret could have on her life may be minimal right now, though it is one that could have a huge impact on Rafe's. Not only has Hope asked for another chance to be with him, but she has even come around to their impending nuptials, and is ready to plan a wedding. If she were to find out that he spent the night they were apart with Sami of all people, things would be called off again, and this time, for good.

It's unclear just who will learn the truth, and in what way they will use it, though the only person who seems likely to piece it together at the moment is Will. When he went to see Sami and try to fix their broken relationship following a talk with Eric (Greg Vaughan), he found Hope's engagement ring in his mother's hotel room. Sami quickly lied to him and explained it was a ring that EJ had given her once upon a time, knowing her son has no recollection of his memories from the past, and likely wouldn't realize that she had lied to him.

However, as Will's memories slowly continue to trickle through, he may actually put two and two together and realize that Sami had lied to him, and the ring actually belonged to someone else. If he then sees Rafe and Hope at all and notices the same ring on her finger, he may put the pieces together—and he could once again decide that his relationship with Sami isn't one worth remembering.
