‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: What Will Jack Do During The Debate?

The Mayoral race is heating up in Salem, and as Abe and Jack prepare for the final stretch of their competition, the latter will pull out some dirty tricks as he continues trying to discredit the towns current leader in his quest for power on the Wednesday, May 1 episode of ‘Days of Our Lives.”

Since announcing his candidacy for mayor on the NBC soap, Jack (Matthew Ashford) has been fueled by Eve’s (Kassie DePaiva) encouragement as he tries to take down Abe (James Reynolds). His biggest platform has been a huge anti-immigration stance that has focused on Haley (Thia Megia), as well as the Mexican drug cartel that has been wreaking havoc in Salem in an attempt to get to Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). The criminal history in the town and the immigration focus, as well as his recent marriage to Eve, have all helped him pull ahead in the polls, but as they go in for their debate, it doesn’t mean Jack won’t still resort to another shocking stunt to ensure he wins the race.

In his attempt to further discredit Abe, he has also used the fact that Abe’s assistant, Sheila (Tionne Watkins) is a former criminal as well—and Abe has been growing close to her as they’ve continued working together on his campaign. The two even shared a kiss at one point, and if Jack got evidence of that moment on film, he may have the final nail he needs to put into Abe’s Mayoral coffin—assuring he wins the election.

However, using that against Abe won’t be the only thing he benefits from, as Abe will have to explain what happened to someone important who shows up for the debate as well—his long-distance love, Val (Vanessa Williams).

“Val surprises Abe when she shows up for his mayoral debate against Jack,” spoilers reveal.

If Jack’s plan succeeds, he will not only destroy his opponent politically but could also destroy his personal life too.
