‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will Clyde’s Escape Ruin Everything For Ben?
He is planning to get a fresh start on his life with Ciara now that he’s out of prison and has been acquitted of all the charges when it came to his sister’s murder. However, Ben’s father could wind up destroying everything for him when it comes to his new life on the Wednesday, April 1 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
Since Ciara (Victoria Konefal) proved Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) did not commit Jordan’s (Chrishell Stause) murder o the NBC soap, things have been very different for the man who was just seconds from death by lethal injection. Though he initially spent a little time still in jail waiting for the charges to be dropped, where he spent time with his convict father Clyde (James Read), he has finally been freed and given the chance to spend real time with Ciara. The couple has even started planning on their future together and discussing the jobs they will try to get as they start things up again. However, Clyde may have other plans for them instead.
“Clyde turns Ben’s world upside down when he escapes from prison,” spoilers reveal.
While Clyde did prove to be useful at some points during Ben’s imprisonment—helping him escape before his execution, eating his last meal with him and even revealing who Evan’s (Brock Kelly) father was by revealing the truth about Orpheus (George DelHoyo). However, he was also responsible for Ben being stabbed when he came after Will (Chandler Massey) and is rightfully imprisoned for his own crimes. His escape, if he seeks help from his son, could prove to mean trouble for Ben.
Whether he wants his son to shelter him or help him with something else, Clyde showing up will only mean trouble for a reformed Ben who only wants to be the man Ciara deserves. However, if he feels he owes his father as well, he may be torn about what the right move to make is—effectively putting all of the freedom he has finally earned in jeopardy as a result.
