'Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers: Will Confronts John About His Plot
He's been secretly trying to figure out just why John has seemingly turned on Steve and been poisoning his drinks, and now, Will could find himself in danger after confronting his step-grandfather on the Friday, Feb. 9 episode of "Days of Our Lives."
Paul (Christopher Sean) initially overheard John (Drake Hgestyn) on the phone on the NBC soap, and realized his father was poisoning Steve (Stephen Nichols), though he didn't know why. After confiding in Will (Chandler Massey), the two have teamed up to see what they can learn. They have been trying to figure out the truth as quickly as possible, as Steve's condition is continuing to quickly deteriorate, especially since news came that he was also suffering from an autoimmune disease.
Now, the two overheard John and his secret contact as they discussed the situation and the need for John to finish the mission, and it has become clear that this is something ISA has ordered. While it is unclear why the spy agency wants to kill off one of their own, John was warned that if he didn't finish the job, they knew where to find his loved ones. Alas, he has poured a more lethal dosage of the poison into a coffee meant for Steve and has arranged to meet up with him. However, Will has now stopped him from his meeting, by confronting him and admitting that he knows what John has been doing.
Now, John will want to know exactly how much Will knows, and also how exactly he plans to stop him. Of course, Will, may not have a real plan that's viable, but regardless, it will become clear that he does know way too much for his own good, and John may be forced to resort to drastic measures to make sure he can't talk and reveal what he knows.
Of course, it could also be too late for John to poison Steve again anyway. He was at the hospital the last he saw him, trying to learn what disease in particular he had, when he collapsed. Since then, he has not been breathing either—and the race is on to try and resuscitate him.
"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays on NBC.
