‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will Eli And Lani Get An Unexpected Surprise?

They have finally reunited after being apart due to Gabi’s manipulations, and seem happier than ever. Now, as they prepare to take a big step forward in their future, Eli and Lani could be stunned by an unexpected surprise on the Wednesday, May 27 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) finally reunited after more than a year apart, after she finally exposed what Gabi (Camila Banus) had done to her to force her to break up with him and leave him at the altar on the NBC soap. Since then, the two have been focused on rebuilding their bond with each other and also trying to get some form of revenge on Gabi for what she did, after she managed to avoid prison for her crimes because she donated bone marrow to baby Mickey/Rachel.

Now, with Gabi once again in jail for allegedly drugging Abigail (Kate Mansi), the two may finally be ready for their next step, and Eli will decide the time is right to once again ask Lani to be his wife.

The engagement will be great news for them, as well as others in Salem, which has seen a number of engagements lately, with Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), as well as Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) also set to wed. However, it may not be the only good news the couple gets.

Eli and Lani’s relationship was also affected in the past by their one-night stand that led to her getting pregnant, but things didn’t end well for them there, with their baby, David, being stillborn. However, a preview clip for the week’s episodes shows that the couple may also suspect that they’re pregnant—and they will get the results of a test which may help them finally get the full family they have wanted.
