‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will Eric Receive The Shock of His Life?

The truth has finally been revealed about the way he cares for Sarah, but all the drama he’s faced in regards to that relationship could fly out the window as someone very important from Eric’s past makes a surprise return to Salem on the Thursday, April 25 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Eric (Greg Vaughan) has been struggling to keep the truth about his feelings for Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to himself on the NBC soap, especially since she’s recommitted to marrying his brother, Rex (Kyle Lowder), even though Sarah, who also has feelings for him, has been trying to figure out the truth. Now, after he continued dodging it and lying to her, it appears she will find a way to learn his big secret—by going to his mother, Marlena (Deidre Hall) and getting her to reveal what she knows.

However, even with that knowledge, it may no longer matter, since spoilers also reveal that someone Eric loved far more is set to make a surprising and unexpected return to Salem, despite everyone believing she had died in a warehouse explosion in Nashville in the Fall.

Nicole being alive and coming back to town will have huge consequences for several people—especially since her presumed death brought tons of drama over who would care for her daughter, Holly, as well as issues between Eric and his brother, Brady (Eric Martsolf).

Now, her being alive and back in Salem could be the thing that keeps Sarah and Eric apart as well, no matter what has been revealed about the feelings they each share. Nicole being in the picture at all is something that could completely force Sarah to lose out on the man she’s been falling for, and keep her on the path towards a marriage she isn’t entirely sure she wants.
