A lot has happened in a year in Salem, and now, Abigail will find herself torn as she receives an odd request from the woman who was accused of trying to kill her mother on the Tuesday, Nov. 19 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Following Jennifer’s (Melissa Reeves) fall after her she remarried Jack (Matthew Ashford), it had become clear that someone had pushed her over the balcony on the NBC soap, and following her waking up from her coma one year later, it was revealed that the person who had put her in that situation was, in fact, behind bars. However, the person in jail was revealed to be Eve (Kassie DePaiva), since she seemed like the most likely culprit. Now, with Jennifer finally awake, Eve will do whatever it takes to prove her innocence.

“Eve summons Abigail (Kate Mansi),” spoilers reveal.

Since Adrienne’s (Judi Evans) shocking death in the last year and Jennifer unable to work either, Abigail had stepped up as the person in charge of The Spectator, making her the lead investigative reporter in Salem as a result. However, she hasn’t looked any further into her mother’s case since it seemed as though everything was figured out, with the tumultuous history Eve and Jennifer shared, as well as Eve’s drunken threats not long before the fall. Now, with no one else to turn to, Eve will request Abigail’s help as she tries to get herself free.

Abigail will likely be shocked by the request since she has no real reason to want to help Eve out, but if she listens to the other woman’s pleas and begins to believe her that while she was too drunk to remember everything that happened that night, she knows she didn’t push anyone off a balcony, she could decide to investigate after all.

However, since the real culprit is Princess Gina/Hope (Kristian Alfonso), there is no telling what new danger that could unfold.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
