She’s determined to make sure that her secret isn’t revealed and she is never separated from her daughter again, no matter what crimes she has committed. As a result, Gabi will prepare to take her most extreme measures yet to ensure her safety on the Thursday, Dec. 20 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Gabi’s (Camila Banus) revenge plot against Abigail (Kate Mansi) took an unexpected turn when Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) uncovered the truth that Gabi had changed the paternity test results on Charlotte, and the baby was actually Chad’s (Billy Flynn) daughter. In the struggle to get the paper back on the NBC soap, Gabi accidentally forced the older woman to fall down the stairs at the Kiriakis Mansion. She is not unconscious in the hospital, and it is unclear if she will make it.

However, Gabi has become haunted by the prospect of Julie waking up and revealing everything—which could send Gabi to jail yet again, taking her away from her daughter, Arianna, once more. Gabi decided she would do whatever it takes in order to make sure she is never kept away from her only child ever again and realized the only way to guarantee that would be to make sure Julie stays silent—forever.

She is now in the other woman’s hospital room with a pillow and is preparing to smother her to death, but she may realize at the last minute that she can’t go through with it. While she did commit murder before by killing Nick, he had done awful things to her, and while Julie never forgave that act and has never been kind, she hasn’t actively done anything to destroy Gabi’s life. As a result, she may not go through with the plan.

However, she could still realize she needs to do something drastic, especially if she wants to make sure the truth never gets out.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
