‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will Hope Fall For Ted’s Charms?

He’s been a problem for her marriage ever since he came back to town, and now, Ted may make another move that could blow up Hope’s relationship with Rafe for good on the Friday, April 5 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Ted (Gilles Marini) already shared a kiss with Hope (Kristian Alfonso) while Rafe (Galen Gering) was out of town and helping Sami (Alison Sweeney) on the NBC soap, but she quickly pushed him away and warned him not to do anything like that again because she was married and loved her husband. Since then, Ted has still been around however and working as the DA, despite Rafe trying to get him fired by revealing his dirty past of blackmailing Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith), and while nothing else has happened between him and Hope, he’s been a big source of tension for the couple.

Now, following Rafe once again leaving so he could go to California and investigate Jordan’s (Chrishell Stause Hartley) claim that she had a son there, Ted will seize on the opportunity to once again get into Hope’s head—and potentially her heart.

A preview clip for the week’s episodes also shows Ted telling Hope he is in love with her before planting another steamy kiss on her. However, it also shows Rafe seemingly deciding that he will raise Jordan’s son for her while she is in the hospital—and it could cause some major problems for their marriage as well, with Hope tearfully telling Rafe she isn’t sure she still wants to be married to him.

A potential split has been brewing for the couple for a while. Even though they managed to reconcile following the bombshell that Rafe had cheated on her with Sami before they got married, the connection he has to his ex-wife has always been a sore spot for Hope. When he left to go to Europe and help her out, it made her question his commitment, and his commitment to helping Jordan, another ex, is also likely to bruise her ego as well.

In addition, Ted has been a sore spot ever since he claimed he and Hope were having an affair when she helped hide him from Stefan (Brandon Barash). His attempt to help her try and pin the attempt on Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) life on Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) also hasn’t helped matters, and Rafe does not trust the DA around his wife.

With both of them allowing people who cause their spouse pain to have a role in their lives, it could mean that there is no going back for the couple at all anymore—and their marriage may come to a shocking end because of it.
