They were finally pronounced husband and wife after so many years of struggles and issues when it came to their happily ever after ending. However, their first minutes as husband and wife won’t be easy either, as Nicole and Eric’s big day gets an unexpected guest when Sami crashes the affair on the Wednesday, July 15 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) have had a lot of drama that has stood in their way when it comes to their getting to be together on the NBC soap, but have finally had a chance to find their way to the altar. Unfortunately, after Abe (James Reynolds) pronounces them husband and wife, their joy will be short-lived, because Eric’s sister, Sami (Allison Sweeney), who is not supportive of their romance, crashes—and she won’t wait to make her feelings about Nicole as a sister-in-law clear.

“Nicole and Eric’s wedding to a halt when Sami interrupts,” spoilers reveal.

Previews for the episode show Sami tackling Nicole and landing in the cake, so she isn’t going to necessarily take too kindly to Nicole being her sister-in-law officially. However, what spurns the moment could be related to her general feelings about Nicole and their contentious past—but it could also be if she learns the truth about her daughter, Allie (Lindsay Arnold), who is pregnant—and who Nicole has been letting stay with her as she keeps the truth from Sami.

Meanwhile, as that drama unfolds, elsewhere in Salem, Gabi (Camila Banus) will be waiting to find out if she can actually have the happy ending she envisions with Stefan/Jake (Brandon Barash), as the two wait to learn if the serum to recollect memories will actually work now that he’s injected it.

“Gabi and Jake wait impatiently for the serum to kick in,” spoilers state.
