He’s already dealing with charges for a crime he didn’t commit and has also become homeless after being conned by his new wife. However, the troubles Stefan is facing will only continue to grow after a new crime is added to the list of ones being mounted against him on the Wednesday, August 7 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After being kicked out of his mansion by Gabi (Camila Banus), who revealed she was only after him and everything he had for revenge, which she now got following their marriage on the NBC soap. Now, with that added on to his losing his job as CEO of DiMera because he was framed for Ted (Gilles Marini) and Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) kidnappings, Stefan (Brandon Barash) wants answers about why this has all happened to him. However, when he went to find Ted and confront him about lying, he found the other man dead from a gunshot wound—and soon after, Eli (Lamon Archey) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) arrived to see why Ted wasn’t answering their calls. Now, it appears Stefan will once again find himself taking the fall for a crime he didn’t commit, only making things worse for himself as a result.

“Stefan is arrested for murder,” spoilers reveal.

Stefan getting arrested for another crime will only hurt his chances at winning back his company and his life more difficult—and it will also be more helpful for his scheming sister he doesn’t know is back from the dead.

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is the one who framed him for the kidnapping, and now, after dumping Ted’s body, she has unknowingly also set him up for a further fall. While this won’t help her tear Gabi away from the CEO job she has her eyes on, it will make it easier for her to try and infiltrate even more, since Gabi could become distracted by also trying to help Stefan, despite her initial plans to only destroy him.

However, Kristen may still be distracted by the other part of her plan as well, which is to get Brady (Eric Martsolf) back, even though she has to pretend to be Nicole (Arianne Zucker) in order to do it. However, after trying to break him down for months, she may finally have some success where he is concerned.

“Brady finally gives in to ‘Nicole’s’ advances,” spoilers reveal.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
