Days of our lives
Xander (Paul Tefler) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) plot risks exposure on the July 12, 2019 episode of “Days of Our Lives.” NBC

They’ve been working to keep their secret plot from being exposed, even as they’ve turned on one another. However, Xander and Kristen could both risk everything they’ve set in motion on the Friday, July 12 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Xander (Paul Tefler) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), despite being partners from the beginning of the plan and faking Holly’s death, have turned on one another recently, after Kristen realized he didn’t kill Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Ted (Gilles Marini) but had instead stashed them in the DiMera Tunnels. Now, Kristen is choosing to potentially risk everything on the NBC soap by exposing herself as she sets out to finish the job she thought Xander would have done.

“Kristen reveals herself to Kate and Ted,” spoilers reveal.

Revealing herself would be a risk, but if she can manage to kill the two and get back out before being seen, she’ll successfully keep the truth about her being alive a secret for a little longer. However, she may not have a chance to complete the job, since Xander is also heading back down there with the intention of bringing more food to his captives. Unfortunately for both of them—he won’t be alone.

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is tailing him and will likely follow him there. If Kristen realizes they’re coming she could flee quickly and disappear, meaning she won’t be seen, but Kate and Ted will be able to reveal that she’s alive and back in Salem after all. However, Hope’s tailing could also have bigger consequences for Xander.

“Hope follows Xander, who’s on his way to the secret room,” spoilers state.

If she follows him and doesn’t see Kristen, but finds Kate and Ted, she’ll have reason to arrest him—and if he goes down alone for the crimes Kristen has been trying to make him commit, Xander could also decide to reveal everything if it saves him.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
