The 20th Century Studios official Twitter handle shared a trailer of the highly anticipated crime mystery drama, "Death on the Nile" on Tuesday featuring Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Kenneth Branagh, Emma Mackey, and Letitia Wright.

The short trailer starts with welcoming Mr. and Mrs. Simon Doyle - played by Hammer and Gadot - sharing a romantic moment together. The next scene introduces detective Hercule Poirot, who investigates a murder that takes place on the cruise ship.

Poirot suspects there is a reason why he has been invited to their cruise party. The next scene shows Gadot happily announcing that they have "enough champagne to fill the Nile," before revealing to the detective that when you have money, no one is really your friend.

Soon there's a death reported on the ship and the detective tries to figure out who did the crime by talking with all the guests. Gadot admits that she doesn't feel safe anymore. At the end of the trailer, the detective closes all the doors and says no one will leave until he finds the criminal.

"Every passenger has a motive," 20th Century Studios wrote in the caption of the trailer.

Fans took to the comments section to share their reaction.

One of the fans wrote, "Okay so its a murder mystery kinda movie and wow i am already loving it i was thinking what movies coming in febuary and i got this trailer wow can't wait" while another fan wrote, "Depeche Mode really sets the tone, fantastic trailer, looking forward to watching it."

The movie is based on author Agatha Christie's novel of the same name, released in 1937. "Death on the Nile" is slated to release in theaters on Feb. 11, 2022.

However, there is no confirmation yet on which streaming platform it will land in the future. Considering the movie will be released via 20th Century Studios, it might stream on HBO Max or on the Disney+ platform.

Helmed by director Kenneth Branagh, the star-studded movie also features Russell Brand, Tom Bateman, Rose Leslie, Ali Fazal, Jennifer Saunders and Sophie Okonedo.
