Death Threats Plaguing Casey Anthony's Parents

The parents of Casey Anthony have been receiving death threats since their daughter was acquitted of charges in a Florida court that she killed her 2-year-old daughter.

The Orlando Sentinel newspaper reported that Sheriff's spokesman Captain Angelo Nieves reveal that George and Cindy Anthony have been bombarded by at least a half-dozen phone calls which included death threats.

Orlando police officials are now conducting a probe on the credibility of such threats.

We are assessing, Nieves said, according to the paper. We are also making an effort to indentify the callers.

Casey Anthony, who will be released from prison on July 17, has become perhaps the most hated woman in the country following the not guilty verdict that has shocked and disturbed many,
