December TV Premieres: Over 15 New TV Shows And Seasons Airing This Month

It’s the holiday season, but television is giving you plenty of ways to escape from nosy families and gift shopping. Over 15 new TV shows will premiere in December.

Reality fans have plenty to watch. Favorites like “Top Chef,” “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and “Project Runway Junior” all come back this month, but new shows are premiering too. Mariah Carey joins the reality TV landscape with “Mariah’s World,” an E! docu-series about her engagement and “Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour.”

Those who prefer scripted programming are in luck. “The Royals” Season 3 will return to E! with some juicy drama. Viewers will find out if Prince Robert (Max Brown) really is dead or not. Those looking to start a brand-new series should try “Shut Eye” on Hulu. The dark comedy follows a fake psychic, Charlie Haverford (Jeffrey Donovan). However, after a serious blow to the head, he actually becomes clairvoyant.

If you need to watch something family friendly, Netflix has the kids covered. “Fuller House” Season 2 premieres just in time for the holidays, and they’ll cover a lot of them. Halloween, Christmas and New Year’s Eve episodes are in the new season. Animation fans should check out Guillermo Del Toro’s new series “Trollhunters.” When a teenager discovers a magical amulet, he realizes that trolls are living beneath his town. As the amulet holder, he must now protect the trolls while also finishing high school.
