Demi and Ashton Split Rumors: Who is Sara Leal?

A rumor that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have called it quits is gaining more and more traction as the couple remains silent -- reportedly ignoring repeated requests for comment by RadarOnline, the New York Post, and others.

Speculation that the A-list couple was on the rocks heated up this weekend, when an anonymous person emailed TheDirty.com to report that Kutcher had slept with an acquaintance of hers, a 23-year old woman by the name of Sara Leal.

The affair allegedly took place in San Diego in the early hours of Saturday morning, which coincided with Demi and Ashton's sixth wedding anniversary.

The famously oversharing couple has been unusually silent on Twitter the last few days. While both have tweeted about their respective projects, neither has mentioned or tweeted the other since the report first broke. Moore has posted some cryptic tweets, including a photo of herself with her eyes closed with the message: I see through you.

Earlier, on Sept. 23, Moore waxed philosophical with a quote from Epictetus: When we are offended at any man's fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger.

Star magazine and its sister publication RadarOnline have run with the story -- a report on the breakup is the cover story of Wednesday's issue of Star, but the full story is not available online. One source reportedly told Star that Ashton and Demi have separated and the marriage is over.

RadarOnline reportedly spoke to sources close to the couple and one who saw Ashton out partying on Friday night in San Diego, the same night of the alleged cheating incident.

Ashton didn't look like someone who was celebrating a wedding anniversary, the source told RadarOnline.

An alleged 'pal' of Moore's added that the actress was set to meet with a lawyer on Tuesday night.

TheDirty.com published an email on Sept. 26 from someone who said she was a friend of the alleged mistress, Sara Leal. The email reads:

Nik, I'm going to be straight to the point. I'm a female who works at who happens to be friends with Sara Leal, probably not after this. I'm sick to my stomach over what happen last Friday night. Like most people on earth I worshiped Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore until Ashton Kutcher f****d my friend Sara Leal at 4:30AM technically Saturday morning in his room on the 12 floor at the Hardrock Hotel in San Diego. Ashton Kutcher told Sara Leal that him and Demi Moore are separated and the public doesn't know yet. Smooth line Ashton, she was going to f**k you anyway. Nik if you want to verify any of this just call Sara Leal yourself or ask Deena Omari. Better yet subpoena Ashton's bodyguard who took her phone before she came into the room.

Sara Leal has not yet come forward, and has reportedly hired a lawyer. TheDirty.com claims she blocked her Facebook account (IBTimes was not able to locate one) and turned off her phone. The Web site also reports that Leal is asking $250,000 for the exclusive story. IBTimes is awaiting a response to a request for more information from TheDirty.com
